NHH's 2012 Protective Style Challenge! Let's Get Growing Baby!

Are you up for the challenge? We've seen it time & time again - women wear weaves, wigs and braids year round. We never see their real hair and we assume it's becasue they don't have any, right? Then one day...BAM!! She rocks her real hair and it's super long and thick. That's because protective styling allows your hair to rest and recover from daily manipulation. Pulling, brushing, combing, twisting, etc. all cause added stress to the hair and can lead to breakage, thinning and split ends. Let's put protective styling to the test! Join us in our 2012 Protective Style Challenge! Anyone can accept and join the challenge.

The rules below are only required to win the Protective Style Challenge Contest. Anyone that completes the below steps will be entered to win an NHH T-shirt & the SheaMoisture Curl & Shine Kit! Here are the rules:

1) Upload a pic (to NHH facebook page or via email to cknight@naturallyhappyhair.com) of your hair before adding the protective style. Include your “pre” challenge length check. You can display your length by stretching your hair to its longest point or by documenting the length in inches.

2) Upload a pic (to NHH facebook
page or via email to cknight@naturallyhappyhair.com of you wearing your protective style. This will give others an idea of the various protective styling options.

3) Lastly, upload a pic of your hair after removing the protective style. Include your “post” challenge length check. You can display your length by stretching your hair to its longest point or by documenting the length in inches.
